When building a computer or ordering parts, do you normally purchase as much as you can from one company to save on shipping costs, or use a service such as pricewatch to find the cheapest deal on every last item?

And would anyone happen to know where I could purchase a retail version of the Pioneer 16X EIDE slot load DVD drive? Every place I've looked doesn't carry them, or only offers an OEM version.

I tend to purchase as many items from one company as possible. Not just to cut down on shipping costs but because the few companies I have had no problems with I don't want to go under.
