Hi! My current system is hanging when I try to boot. It clears the POST and gets right to the part where it should start booting into Windows or from a CD. It does this on my friend's system as well. He has a MSI K7D Master-L and I have an Asus A7M266-D. We both have the same controller cards.
I thought I remembered reading about an update for the Promise Ultra133 TX2 IDE controller card, but I can't find any information about this 'problem' being resolved in their latest BIOS available online.

I should mention that taking either card out allows the system to boot into Windows.
