computer hangs on SSD detection...

when I boot my computer now the BIOS hangs when it detects the SSD. I cannot get the computer to go past this point and the SSD is new, maybe 2 months old. How can I get past this?

Did you do anything or change anything on your system before this happened?

Is the SSD showing up in BIOS?

at least for the moment the problem is solved. i took the SSD and connected it to my other computer with an external sata connection and it was detected by the computer. So I reformatted the SSD to NTFS and for the moment this SSD is working fine. I did the same with an older SSD that i thought was bricked. but in retrospect the problems started when I was using partition wizard trying to resize the boot partition. For this operation it had to reboot and the problems began.
