So I'm here in my room, home on the weekend from college and I just realized that my room is a computer graveyard.

There is sooo much crap here, and once you check in your rarely checkout intact.

Within my view:
-3 and 1/2 Printers
-No less than 7 old macs
-Several eMachine 266's
-at least 4 486-Pentium Class Machines
-No less than 4 CRT Monitors
-at least 10 keyboards
-Manuals upon Manuals
-at least 15 CD-R's laying around (i have no idea whats on most of them)
-at least 4 sets of speakers
-28.8 Modem (big mother)
-550 P3 Processor
-400 Celeron Processor
-Cables Everywhere
-piles of FHM, Maxim, Blender, and others (from all those freebies)
-Boxes and tubs full of more old mac parts, and equal tubs full of PC crap
-Several Boxes of things that have been riped apart, fulled with wires, and just about anything else you could want/need
-papers and dirty clothes everywhere, dishes
-Piles of hardware and software boxes.

I guess i really am a slob, and i didnt even look under the bed, on the basement closet :) Wish i had remembered my digicam this weekend.

What kinda crap you guys got?

My room is kinda like that too, minus the clothes and dirty dishes. Actually I kind of spread out all the old stuff between my "office" and the garage. HArd to walk through the many stacks of freebie mags and parts though. Of course the giant desk and 50 gallon fish tank don't help either.

Oh well. Maybe I'll have a yard sale.

I'm living in a dorm room by myself, so there's really no junk sitting around other than a few week-old newspapers.

I used to be like this. Then aI picked up a massive 4-drawer filing cabinet off of the side of the road! Almost works like a charm.

Forget sending it to me - where is this room located, I'll be there will a UHaul. Those old macs are PRECIOUS. In addition to being a treasure trove of hardware, they are largely indestructible, perfect for kids, totally invulnerable to the problems of the modern internet and if they aren't usable, they're fun to BLOW UP.

486s are also very useful computers. 286s are fun to play with and historical items if nothing else. Your mac and PC parts bins interest me very much.

I'm similar, but this is just what's for sale.

lol. The old macs are mine! all mine!

Actually most of my mac stuff is usually for sale on the LEM (Low End Mac) swap list.

The 1/2 printer is the guts of an old lexmark 35 or something like that.

I should look into selling more of this crap!

I just cleaned up my computer mess by donating to some local college club collecting computer junk to send to Ethopia. Technically old compters and broken monitors are considered hazardous waste.
