Computer gloves?

I have a problem with sweaty palms. If I am not mistaken, the condition is called hyperhydrosis or something like that.
Because my hands are often wet, this attracts dust and leaves nasty residue over time on my keyboard and mouse. Since there's no "cure" for this condition, and most recommendations involve getting a surgery, taking harmful meds, or "reducing stress", I went another route.
I googled "computer gloves" but I don't see anything relevant. There is a site that makes cut off gloves for people with carpal tunnel syndrome, but I want gloves that would cover my fingers too. Maybe someone makes gloves that are not designed for computer use, yet can serve this purpose anyway? Something soft, made of very thin, breathe through fabric, that would not interfere with typing?

If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Links please? Thanks.

You could get some of those cheap stretchy winter gloves for a buck at any store. Maybe cut off the tips of the fingers to make them more tactile and not slip around the keys.

Wouldn't wearing gloves make your hands even sweatier? It might protect your mouse and keyboard but it'll make your hands stink even more after you take em out of the glove. you should relaly look in to the surgeyr. i have a friend that had it and loved the results

i liked these when i worked outside a lot as a field tech in kansas. i wore them because they gave me some relief from the cold, but i could still work easily with tools and screws and parts.

Stop spanking so much, then the hair will stop growing and you won't be so sweaty!

When I was in ROTC, during official functions we had to wear 'parade gloves' - simple, light cloth, very lightweight.

Something like these.

sports section has all sorts of half gloves.
if there are full gloves that are baseball or for kayaking that feel nicer or whatever you can chop the fingers.

You are wasting your time people. You cant possibly embarrass or insult me any more than I have already been in the past. It's like dogs barking in the wind... Besides, you can bet someone else did it much "better" than you by now. ;)

Oh and thanks to those who actually gave me good advice. I'll give those gloves a try.

i have hyperhidrosis and i use anti-anxiety meds to help it, works pretty well but you can also try this spray. you spray it on your hands before you go to bed and it worked pretty well for me, i can't remember what it's called though...

EDIT: found it! http://www.odaban.com/

My wife has pairs of plain cotton gloves she wears after applying lotion on her hands. The material is very thin. No idea where she buys 'em.

I have the same problem, just wipe the sweat off and don't worry about it. Change your mouse, it really helps reduce the amount of sweat.

I keep paper towels, napkins or handkerchiefs at my desk and wipe my hands regularly.
