I've got a i7-2600k / p8p67 pro (first gen not replaced it yet but its now on its way), 2x4gb g.skill ddr3 ram, 1tb samsung spinpoint hdd.

I was having issues with my ram so I was trying each of the sticks individually to see if one was faulty. In the process my computer went from working normal to now it won't even boot at all. Everything turns on power comes on, cpu light turns on, fans run, hdd spins, everything seems to be fine but the connection to my monitor says no signal. I've tried to reset the battery and cmos and still no luck. I'm running out of ideas on what to try and its driving me crazy. It should at least try to boot into bios or give me some general screen or make beeps right? Would the lights still come on the motherboard and the fans run and everything if it had gone out?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am thinking you knocked something loose. Reseat everthing connected to the board.

the issues with the ram itself were not major. I had been getting multiple crc errors on downloads and was just trying to rule that out as a problem.

I've checked all of my connections over and over and still haven't found anything out of place. Where the ram is at on the board and my access to it I can't imagine what would of been knocked out of place. I went ahead and sent in for my replacement board but its very bizarre. I've never had a motherboard go out so I'm not sure if that's what is the cause or what exactly the signs would be of a dead motherboard. I would think if the board had gone out then other things wouldn't be running and the lights for CPU and such wouldn't come on.

Appreciate the suggestions though

I suggest you try to start your computer with cpu, ram, graphic card and hard disk.
Even without a hard disk.
