Computer Gets Sluggish After Short Uptime

anyone have any tips?

I recently upgraded to an AMD64 3000+, with 2 gigs of ram. video card is an agp radeon 9600-pro (planning on upgrading to a 9800 over the summer). not overclocked (not really by choice 😛 I can't figure out how to OC on my new mobo yet)

my previous box was an Athlon 2800+ overclocked to 2.2 GHz, with 1 gig of ram, and I could leave it on for weeks without a problem.

since upgrading to my new box, though, I've found that it gets really sluggish after 8-10 hours (ie: if I leave my computer on while sleeping or at work). it doesn't give me any problems if I'm just surfing the web or listening to music, but as soon as I load up World of Warcraft, it hits me like a brick.

I considered the possibility that it was overheating, but the cpu temps are normal and the problem gets fixed after a soft reboot.

Isn't there a problem with ATI drivers and WoW right now..... memory leak or something, I remember reading about it somewhere.

Edit: have the newest 5.4 drivers for the ati card?
