I booted up my computer and I went into the bios when it froze on me! Luckly it seems like my computer is fine but I was wondering what owuld have caused this?

I am also getting BSOD's (started before this BIOS incident). Bad_Pool_header is the error message. MOST of the time it happens rite when I boot up. I checked the Microsoft technet site but it doesnt seem to help. It just tells me

<< This is, perhaps, the most obscure error message. In most cases, if you receive this error, it's related to the most recent change you've made on your system. Try undoing the change to get rid of the error. >>

But, I havent really made any changes!

I also found out that my computer STILL randomly freezes on me, BAH!

Using Soyo Dragon, Win2k, Maxtor 20 GB 7200 RPM drive, Geforce 2 Pro, temps are fine, updated to most recent drivers (everything), SP2, got AGP patch, ect. I am fresh out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you been back in the bios since it froze on you? Did it freeze again?

What PSU are you using?

A simple suggestion that can't hurt. Boot up and enter the bios and select the option to load the bios default settings, save and exit. Then enter the bios the second time and set the standard settings for your cpu, FSB, and other important things. I was thinking that maybe your bios had a setting change in there that didn't agree with the hardware.
