Well this morning I walked over to my only 2 month old computer and sadly it was frozen. There was no screen and nothing was responding. The fans everything in the computer was working so I thought it was just a random crash

I turned it off then back on again and Instead of getting the DFI screen I got some vertical bars that kept changing color and thats it. No DFI screen no bios nothing so I am a little lost.

I've read on the internet that its possibly the powersupply or the mobo is broken but I'd like to hear your opinions before I start buying and RMAing stuff back.

Hi llockke & Welcome to the Forums!

To your list of PSU and mobo, I'd add gfx card and monitor.

First though, I'd unplug it (gotta watch-out for that 5v standby power frying something) and reseat everything.

Wouldn't hurt to try another monitor. Next I'd try a diff gfx card or put your in another system. Same for PSU.

What are your specs too?

Hey thanks for idea

I went home for lunch and restarted it and the cmos jumper

It restarted again with default settings and everything started to work. Its a good thing too because I started to panic

quick question should I flash the bios(dfi Lanparty UT250) to the newest one, in hopes that this wont happen again?

Sorry dunno man. I don't have a DFI. Whenever I get a new mobo, I try to hunt up a Forum specific to that mobo and see what everybody else is experiencing. Might try that, or see if somebody here with one stops by.
