very weird stuff. I have a UV light, that has a bracket that connects to a PCI slot. This is a brand new PC, i just built it last night. Anyways, whenever I switch the switch at the back to turn the UV lights on/off, the motherboard usually either resets, turns off or goes to a black screen. Occasionally it then hangs when i turn it on, i got a 'cpu failer due to overclocking' as well just before, but generally will work once again. This is really weird since it is not connected to the motherboard at all!! just the power supply. The light isnt even in the case!
