ALRIGHT *breathes in* here goes....

I was running on Win XP Pro SP1 for the longest time, with the 78.01 NVidia Drivers....which worked perfectly.

My boss hooks me up with WinXP Pro Corporate right?

I boot-up with the windows disc, delete my old partition and Full Format it.
After the XP does its thing with the partition, it reformats and boots to windows to finish installing....right? Wrong.

It boots saying "<Windows Root>\system32\hal.dll is missing or corrupt"

I formated 2-3 more times, each coming with that error. (This never happened when I formatted with my reg XP Pro)

Finally, my boss says to NTFS Quick format it.
I do, and it boots up fine.

BUT NOW.

I've installed SP1, SP2, all the Windows Updates, NVidia Drivers, Forceware and updated my BIOS.

I hop into Day of Defeat: Source for 5-6 mins, doing great sniping and all, I look down the scope to snipe an MG-er and it freezes.....I tried to exit out the window but it was the comp that was frozen. CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work or anything.

I scoffed figuring it was nothing, rebooted and hopped into another game (F.E.A.R.)

I'm in multiplayer for 4 mins when it freezes too!!!
I've tried 4-5 other games and it does the same thing :'C

What should I do??

Windows XP Pro Corporate SP2
AMD Barton 3200+ 32Bit
MSI Nvidia 128MB AGP 6600GT
1GB Corsair XMS Xtreme RAM (2 512MB Sticks)
2 120GB S-ATA HDD's
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe MoBo

This sounds like either a Power supply problem or a heat issue. I assume you did not only put in the most recent graphics drivers but also mobo chipset drivers.

Problem Solved.

I was starting up BF2 with a couple clan-mates.........I get in-game, spawn, Rocket a helicopter and it freezes.

So I thought about that heating issue.....and looked down at my cards fan.

Thought I saw a piece of tape or something lodged in there......So after turning the comp off, I pulled on the tape.....low and behold that it was my Fan.

Thanks for everyones help!
