Computer freezing in games

Hi,

I just replaced my Nvidia TI 4200 with a Radeon 9800 Pro. I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers, rebooted, ran DriverCleaner3, rebooted, installed the latest Catalyst drivers and then proceeded to play some of my favorite games.

My computer crashed playing warcraft3 and then again playing America's Army. It continues to crash in these, and all, games that I play. I can sometimes have up to 15 or 20 minutes of playtime before it crashes.

I had my Soundblaster card right below my AGP slot, so I moved it to the bottom in hopes of giving better circulation and temperatures to the AGP slot. It didn't work.

Is there anything else I should check?

Thanks in advance.

What are the full specs of your system, including brand and model of motherboard, power supply and memory?

You say your computer is crashing, so it should generate a minidump file in c:\windows\minidump. Follow the notes in my signature, do all the updates on Windows update, and then see if you can reproduce the problem. If you can, send me the .CAB file from the MPS Reports, and send me the minidumps you got AFTER you updated your drivers, and I'll see if I can tell you why it's crashing.
