Here are some specs:

-520watt psu (just bought, also tried a 430watt and had the same problem)
-3200+ amd venice
-leadtek 6800gt
-1gig of value memory (new but not tested on other systems)
-dfi nforce 4 mobo

I mainly play CSS and quake 3 at the moment. After playing these games for a few minutes the computer freezes and I have to reboot. Any suggestions? I'm thinking it is the video card but please advise if you think otherwise. Thanks.

did you mess with your speeds or voltages? if so, put them back to default or scale down a bit.

thanks. i just got a chance to test an MSI 6800gt and it appears to have the exact same issue. if we both have dfi motherboards than i would have to guess it is some kind of dfi problem :/

I had also just updated my vid drivers so maybe i will try to step it down a notch. Maybe my this new driver is the problem. I am using version 77.77 right from nvidia. I will try it and let you know.
