I heard that there is a bug with WC3 that causes it to crash on many PC's, especially the high-end ones (oddly). I'm not sure about details of this issue; I've just heard of it.

If you ran memtest and received any errors then your ram could be at fault. However, I have no idea about your Software install problems.

Bad memory coming from Corsair.... Imagine that.

Now for an actual response...

Is this an online game? Do you have a seperate NIC card? If so is it a realtek.?

Actually... there's a company called Ultra-X that makes a pci ram tester. However, they're not exactly... cheap. or reasonable unless you plan to get some amount of money out of it. Like several hundred dollars out of it. www.ultra-x.com click on RST Pro 2

Anyways, your ram error...

TST PASS FAILING ADDRESS GOOD BAD ERR-Bits Count Che
3 0 000aca3018 - 172.1MB 40404040 40404041 000000 5 1

According to memtest's website:

Tst: Test Number

Failing Address: Failing memory address

Good: Expected data pattern

Bad: Failing data pattern

Err-Bits: Exclusive or of good and bad data (this shows the position of the failing bit(s))

Count: Number of consecutive errors with the same address and failing bits

Test number 3 accding to the site is:

Test 3 [Moving inv, 8 bit pat, cached]

This is the same as test one but uses a 8 bit wide pattern of "walking" ones and zeros. This test will better detect subtle errors in "wide" memory chips. A total of 20 data patterns are used.

Hope that helps.

Don't bother with a "ram test" it'll cost you money and tell you no more than what Memtest is telling you. More than 0 errors in memtest = bad. Start the crappy RMA process with corsair asap. Some things that "The Ram Guy" over at corsair is going to want:

Up your Dimm Voltage a hair.
Move the dimms around different slots.
Test the Memory in another PC if possible.
List your computer specs, bios, model numbers

After you eventually get a response from "The Ram Guy" ship your memory out to them via USPS Priority Insured Mail. Expect your replacement in about a week or so.

Corsair RMA process sux azz. You have to post in their forums, wait for "The Ram Guy" to say "Send THIS form to RMA AT Corsairmemory.com" then you do that, wait for your RMA# to come back via email. Send off your ram, and wait..... They don't send you any notice that your RMA is in process or whether or not it has shipped. I have an RMA request sitting in their forums right now. I posted my request last thursday, havn't heard one thing yet.
