Pentium 3 with AMD 2400?? Make no sense.. please repharse spec information. I think spywares, viruses, or some programs in use that slow down the computer, or old hardwares that slow down his computer..

oh i ment to delete that,

its amd 2400

i checked for viruses none were found

i am in the process of checking for spyware will keep you posted

thanks

I have always attributed random freezes to the power supply, but it could also be the hard drive. If you can replace the power supply. That would be the most likely culprit in my opinion.

I had a computer that would freeze up any time I played 3d games. Otherwise it would rarely freeze up. Replaced the PSU and it works fine now. The graphics card was probably drawing much more power at those times... at least thats what I'm guessing.
