Had a strange issue with my pc of late, and this only happens randomly, but twice in the last week.
Using the computer as normal, can be games or just web browsing, and the screen goes black with "no signal", computer completely freezes. Reset button does nothing so I hold power button in and turn off. When I turn it on it powers on, still wont boot, no screen, nothing except power lights and drives are on. Only way to return it to normal is power off completly at the switch, leave it for a few seconds and the repower and eveything is fine.
Then the computer is fine again and I can carry on - somtimes go weeks without it happening, other times happens more frequently. Did it this morning 10 mins after turning on, I was only reading emails.
Bizarre thing is it never does it when I'm not using it, PC can be left on all day and it never happens!!
Occasinally I see a psychedelic screen before it turns off, but most of the time it just goes off.
Now I'm thinking power supply, but before I rush and get one just wanted some opions??
