Computer doesn't like more then 1 stick of RAM

Ok, i've been battling problems for awhile, too many reformats to count actually, but something is wrong with the rig below. Just some things to note before reading the main problem i'm having at this moment...

-Many USB devices and hubs don't seem to work, and are reported as unrecognized

-Prime95 runs flawlessly, cpu probably not the problem

-if i select a speed of DDR400 for my memory, rig refuses to post at all, and CMOS needs to be cleared.

-CMOS has been cleared repeadtedly while i've been trying to fix this, no variables there

Right then, now to the problem. Comp won't boot if i have more then 1 stick of ram in. If i leave just 1 in, boots up only after 2-3 tries. If i play games, eventually i get a critical hardware eror msg, and it tells me to run prime95/memtest. SO as memtioned above, prime95 was fine. I stuck in my memtest floppy with only the 1 stick inside, memtest reports no errors at all, completely normal. So, i try all 3 sticks in, and when i try to run memtest, all i get is either a auto-reboot, or just a bunch of colored sqaures with random symbols in them. Then i tried 2, i got memtest running fine, but this time MANY ERRORS. So i try switching each DIMM out and replacing it with another, get the same huge amount of errors every time. I then tried every individual stick with each individual memory slot, no matter what slot or DIMM, with only 1 stick in it always booted fine, (fine meaning after 2-3 tries)

I don't know what to try, my only thought is that my mobo somehow got whacked.

Any ideas?
