Well basically vacation is over and I move back to school from my house. Now when I try to turn the computer on there is no visual, but everyone sounds like its running. I didn't move my monitor down so I know that's not the problem. Also on the case (I have a Cooler Master Praetorian SILVER ALUMINUM MID-TOWER CASE, Model "PAC-T01-E1") and the power led keeps flashing instead of staying lit. Anyone have any idea what this means??

Thanks guys!!!

do you mean nothing comes up on the screen? Maybe the processor is loose (I've seen that do similar things, even with the flashing Power LED). You should check it.

Could be the video card is loose or bad. If it was screwed in as should be, it may have gone bad. Do you get any picture at boot up. Does the monitor give you a message saying it is not getting a signal?

it would beep a lot (instead of just once) if that was the case. does it beep like that? if so, then it's the video card. I doubt it is though, because the power LED wouldn't flash if that was the problem (unless it's a weird mobo).

everything is in tight...i just realized that when i was taking my computer out of the box i got shocked when i touched it...could that mean everything is fried? or maybe just the mobo?

when i boot up i see nothing at all. and there are no beeps

Could be memory, motherboard or power supply. The only way to find out is to swap parts in and out to see what it is. If you have more than one memory module, you could try different combinations. See if you can find and extra one or borrow one to test if nothing happens with the existing memory combinations. If that fails, see if you can try another power supply, then after that, motherboard.

Check your motherboard manual for beep codes to help you diagnose too, that is if you are getting any beeps during the testing phase.
