Computer doesn't boot after new DDR2 800 memory

I have a MSI P6N-SLI (nforce 650i SLI) running 2x1GB of DDR2 800 memory. I recently purchased 2x2GB DDR2 800. When I stick it into the computer, either one stick, two sticks, or all four sticks together, the computer doesn't POST. It of course works fine with my two original sticks of memory.

Does this suggest that there's something wrong with the memory I purchased? The brand is Transcend.

Thanks.

Does it work with just the new RAM?

No = RMA

Yes = reset BIOS, back off your overclock, if any, and see what speed everything auto-sets to.

I have 4x 1GB in my 750i based P5N-D. Either pair of sticks ran the machine fine at 800MHz, and would happily run all the memtest and burn-in tests I wanted. Populate all four slots, and the board resets to 667 and wouldn't even boot past 720MHz.

I think 6xx and 7xx series nVidia chipsets were just... subpar. Particularly when OCing was involved.

Yeah I'll have to ask for a return.

I've tried resetting the CMOS after putting it in, but it gives me nothing.

I'm not even overclocking!
