So this morning i swapped an Enermax PSU i bought off someone into the computer and am certain i connected everything correctly. I also put in some new components for my computer that i had tested before with my old PSU.
When i booted the thing up, all the parts power up, but nothing got sent to the monitor. My vid card's fan was spinning fine though. Also, the usb port didn't seem to power up the optical mouse. I tried a few changes, throwing my old vid card and other components back in, using a different monitor, and switching back to the old PSU, but i still just get an orange light on my monitor (instead of green).
I checked out the main mobo power plug from the PSU and noticed that one of the pins or whatever you call them is missing. But that wouldnt explain why it doesnt work with my old PSU anymore either....

Any ideas?
System:
Athlon64 3200+
Asus K8V SE Deluxe
470W Enermax Noisetaker / 350W Antec PSU (old)
ATI x800XT AIW agp (new one) / ATI 9800 Pro (old)
Also, i did some extensive dusting during the swap. I used canned air, and didn't invert it at all or anything. That's not gonna mess up the components yea?
thanks
