Question Computer display shutting down during rendering.

I'm rendering on 3ds max with Vray but every time I do a large bucket render the monitor goes to sleep (well within the time set to sleep, usually a couple of minutes) and when I try to wake it the 3ds max display has disappeared and won't come back and autocad has crashed with a message "Re: fatal error: unhandled access violation reading 0x0088 exception". Sometimes windows seems to have been corrupted too so when I double click on a folder it opens the folder properties instead of going into it. I've run GPU-Z and task manager to see what's happening and the results are below, crash point marked with a green arrow. I don't know if it's hardware or software so at the minute I'm just posting here to try and narrow it down a bit, would anyone have any ideas?

The perfcap reason showed a pwr indicator which I think is a total power limit? not sure.

Yes I have but I've had the issue for a while now and it's spanned a few driver versions, doing more digging and it seems to be crashing when I have autopano giga open, so it might be an issue there, as I say just trying to rule out a hardware/power supply issue first before digging further.
