Computer Display Problems

No post or splash screen or anything just black? cmos settings could have wigged out saw something like that once. try clearing the cmos on the motherboard usually a jumper located near near the bios chip that does this. It will set itself back to defaults at that point. give us some specs on his system hard to figure it out with next to no specs.
