I tried to look through the old posts to see if this has been covered, and did a little googling, but didn't find anything too helpfull just yet.

My nice big TV just died... So, until I figure out exactly what and how I'm going to replace it, I'd like to just through my old 20" computer CRT in it's place to fill the void of no TV.

I don't need a tuner or anything, just something that'll convert S-Video (or component, etc) to a good'o RGB type signal I can plug into the back of my monitor. No need for HDTV, just basic DirecTV and DVD's...

Any help out there?

Thanks,

I have had this:

K-World TV Box

for about a year and a half and I'm pretty happy with it. The box itself works well and it's good for playing PS2, TV etc on my old CRT with my old cheap spare yellowed speakers. Looks way better hooked up to a CRT than an LCD. No widescreen resolution support, 4:3 only, goes up to 1280x1024. Remote feels a little cheap but it works. Looks best at 75Hz.
