Computer crashing, not cpu or video card?

I'm wondering what is causing my computer to crash. It happens all the time at different times. For example it just crashed right as i entered into windows. It makes a buzz sound then reboots. Sometimes im in a game of onslaught and itl do the same thing. Seems to happen about 6 times a day. I wouldn't think its temperatures cuz it happened the first time i booted it up this morning. Is this a sign of a CPU dieing? I'm on a amd 2700+ xp w/ 1 gig of ram, x800 pro, 420 watt PSU. I havent had a problem with the PSU with all of this stuff.

Random reboots point to a power problem. It's either the CPU, motherboard or the PSU. Can you swap components out to see where the problem is?

Run Prime95 or another stress test to try and make the computer reboot. If it does then it may be the CPU.
