I recently bought a new system with a LeadTek WinFast GeForce DDR RevB OEM. The card was from MIXPC.COM, and it did not come with the huge gold heatsink the retail WinFast comes with. So, I think my crashing problems might be caused by the GPU overheating. I'm running Win2K and have flashed the video BIOS with the latest BIOS from LeadTek. I've also tried LeadTek's latest Win2K drivers, and 5.22 Detonator drivers. I will try 5.30, but I doubt it will help much.
Any ideas? What temperature should my GPU stay under? It reaches 125F without running anything 3D-intensive. Is this normal?
