My friends computer (3400, DFI-UT 754, 9800 pro) crashes after playing BF2 anywhere from 5-20 minutes of gameplay. There is no overclocking on this computer. PSU is 400w HIPRO, and I'm think that this might be the problem.

Also updated ati drivers? for some reason people with ati cards crash in that game least from some of the last few posts I ahve seen people get restarts.. but I don't know don't take my word for it.. try updating drivers.. power supply sounds very probable.. especially if it's of cheap quality.. don't know much about HIPRO.. sounds like it comes with the case though..

It could also beat heat build up (CPU,Case or video GPU) and/or driver compatibility issues.

Does it take him back to the desktop, or the puter reboots itself? Besides the psu it could also be a mem problem.
