So I was priming a new water set up. A little bleeding and such, I have this little cap at the very top of the case that was open to let the air out but OOps forgot to turn the pump off at a crucial time, thing is pretty quiet. Anways about a 1/4 cup of coolant rains down on memory slots, vid card and a couple of scsi drives installed upside down. Oh shoot. After the initial panic a little patience set in along with some time with the hairdryer. Wait a day then put her all back together....good as new. Got a theory here that the glycol really helps out. I've seen some components corrode pretty fast with just water. Think as the water evaporates the glycol leaves a residue that keeps the oxygen at bay because there wasn't any corrosion, even with a magnifying glass.
Biggest benefit of all this was getting a small socket 370 CPU HSF on the northbridge (KT133) using 2/56 machine screws tapped into the base and installed from the back of mobo, tamed the flakey FSB real nice.
