Computer can't boot up (BSOD)

Computer Specs:
i7 920 Bloomfield
ASUS P6T Mobo
Corsair 750W PSU
6gb ram
1 TB HDD (WD I think)
EVGA GTS 450 (Fermi)
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

So randomly my computer decided not to start. Everytime I try it would get to a blue screen for less than a second then restart. The screen disappears way too soon for me to read what's on it, though it seems to be only 2-3 lines of text.

I cannot boot into Safe Mode, and I've already run Startup Repair to no avail. I also tried System Restore, but Windows claims there are no restore points, though I'm confident there's been 2 that have been set in the last few days.

The only things I've really done to my computer in the last few days were install and mess around with Rainmeter, install Portal 2, and instsall Avast Antivirus.

I'm inclined to think that Rainmeter has something to do with the problem because yesterday it started telling me there was a file that was corrupt and that I needed to run chkdsk, so after rebooting and doing so I was told that Windows was unable to start, but after running Startup Repair everything was fine.

Though today when I booted up the computer (successfully) there was some notable lag when starting Firefox, so I rebooted and got into the situation I am in now.

Perhaps the real problem is I can't really diagnose any problems since Windows won't start at all, but any help is hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I ran Startup Repair again and checked the diagnostic details. A couple of interesting points:
Every test performed had the error code "0x0", now I'm not sure if that's a real error or just nothing
At the beginning, it says
System Disk = \Device\Harddisk0
Windows directory = D : \Windows (Shouldn't this say C: \Windows? Is that what the problem is?)
AutoChk Run = 0
Number of root causes = 1

At the end, it says
Root cause found:
------------------
System volume on disk is corrupt.

I'm not liking the sound of that. Any help on what I need to do? I would prefer not formatting my computer :\

Hit F8 when windows starts to load and then select "Disable restart on system failure"
Then you can see what the BSOD error message is.

Well I don't know what to make of this, but after doing what you said, the BSOD was gone and I was able to successfully boot into Windows. However, the computer is unusually slow in some cases and has been freezing up occasionally. Is there any diagnostics I can run to see what's wrong with my computer, if anything?

Sounds like your file structure is corrupt. Right click drive C and go to properties - tools - error checking - check now, You don't need to check for bad sectors. It will require a reboot. Watch it go through the 3 stages check and see if it found and corrected any errors.
