I was working on a comp, then i stopped for about a month or a month and a half and now I wanna get back into building it, right now I have:

tower- cooler master cavalier

motherboard- ABIT KV8 Pro

disk drive- rosewill combo 52x DVD rom

hard drive- Seagate Barracuda 160gb

im gonna get:

ram- www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=20-146-299&depa=0

psu-www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=17-103-706&depa=0

1. Is this a good setup still and is it worth still building on?
2. what kind of video card should I get with it?
3. what kind of cpu should i get with it?

The link for the RAM doesn't work by the way... Anyways, I would get this PSU instead, its a better brand, higher wattage and its cheaper. The motherboard is socket 754 if I am correct, and working with socket 754 is not worth it in my opinion.

Depends on ur budget. Motherboard: go nforce 4 ultra if u don't need SLI. I'd go DFI Ultra mobo, really popular. I have Asus A8N-E and I love it. CPU: ask anyone, the 3000+ Venice core is awesome, X2 are good too if u got the money. Video: What do u want to spend? 7800 GT are $350 and a great price/performance ratio
