Computer Build not getting to Post.

I just put a new computer together but it doesn't get to post. I've tried changing all the components into (and from) my other computer (PSU, RAM, Graphics Card, CPU) the only thing that hasn't been swapped is the motherboard. All the components work fine in my other computer, any ideas as to what it could be?

The components are:
Athlon XP 2800+
Abit NF7-S2G
512mb Corsair Value Save 400 MHz
Radeon 9250SE
300W Antec PSU (Tried swapping for a 400W PSU but this didn't have any effect)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

if you tried swapping out all the components and they work in the other machine, then it's probably your motherboard. Since you haven't swapped that out, my guess would be a faulty motherboard.

good luck 🙂

I read through that guide, other than the motherboard shorting out which I havent time to check yet nothing else came up.

I did install the heatsink the wrong way round initially but that hasn't damaged the CPU as it still works in the other computer.

At that point, I'd consider RMA'ing the motherboard since you've been able to validate the other items as working. 🙁

Unfortunately, I agree with you.

E-mailed the vendors to see what their policy is on returns =/

Thanks for all the help.
