I've lurked here for a long time and have gotten so much inspiration and technical knowledge from you guys that I decided it was time to rebuild my PC. It look me a little over a year to make everything presentable, but I am pretty happy with it in it's current state. It's not the best of the best hardware by any means but I love it. lol
System Specs:
Corsair tx650 Power Supply
MSI z77 Big Bang Edition motherboard
i7 3770k processor
Corsair h80 cooling
reference msi gtx980
250gb samsung 850pro SSD (Run OS, Office, and Adobe on it)
1TB WD Black for Games
1TB WD Blue for Random File Storage
v71 case
27" 1080p monitor
I just recently upgraded to an SSD this past month and it make a world of difference.
I moved to Chicago in October of last year and had a quad core q8400 + an HD6750 in an HTPC case. (I RMA'd it a month later and got back a 7750.) I started acquiring the new build parts shortly there after. I probably wouldn't have done it if it wouldn't have been for this forum so thanks again!
