Computer Browser Services won't stay started

I was having trouble getting my new laptop to show up in My Network Places on my desktop, and it seems that the "Computer Browser" service is not started on the laptop.

I read an article on ms.com, and it said to go to Computer Managment and to services and to start teh service.

But whenever i start the service, it just says

The Computer Browser service on the Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service/

I tried to set the services to "Manual", and then start it, but i get the same message. Does anyone know how to keep this service on?

Figured out teh problem, File and Printer SHaring wasnt set as an exception in Windows Firewall. The service is now running
