Computer Beeps

I just got a new mobo and the new E6300. Anway, when i turn on my pc it beeps after i pass up the screen that says "press del to enter setup" and then it beeps again after it checks for my harddrives.

Is this normal?
 
what before it? what after it checks ur harddrive?

can u get into operation system?

how is the beep like? like one long two short or some else
 
Most of my computers beep after POST and loading Windows starts. That is my normal. (Just one short beep.)
 
THanks. Okay here's a little more detail.

The first short beep is after it says "Hit del to run setup or hit F8 for popup"

Then the computer checks my harddrives and it beeps after it's done checking my master and slave drive and goes to load windows.
