Computer auto-turns off during games...help!

I recently re-built my machine with the hardware in my signature. Everything is fine until I start playing games and about 30-45 minutes into playing my computer shuts off - no restart - pc power goes out completely. It does not turn off at any other time. There is no consistency to when it goes out - I could immediately start a game after turning on the computer, or the computer could have been on overnight and it will go out during a game.

This has been happening while playing both Civ IV and FEAR.

I tried getting a new power supply - 600 watt Kingwin SLI compatible - and that didn't help.

All drivers are up to date. I'm just at a loss as to what could be the problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

What are the CASE, CPU temps?
(sounds like it is in thermal shutdown)

What OS are you using?
If Win2k or XP, have you checked the 'Event Log'?

as LiLithTecH suggests, it might be heat related. You could try running with the side panels off and a fan to see if that helps at all? Did you have any issues before rebuilding your machine?

CPU temp in idle is about 36 degrees C, load is 55ish I believe.

OS is XP Pro, SP 2. Didn't really see anything out of the ordinary in the event log.

I had a similar problem in CivIV and HL2 with my 9600. Turns out it was a problem with my video card overheating. I replaced it and all works fine now.
