What exactly does Computer and Information Sciences mean? Is it anything like Information Technologies? It's my senior year in high school, and for college, I want to major in Information Technologies so I can do things like network administration. Is CIS anything like Information Technologies?

yes, pretty much. in various schools, one or the other sometimes has a business connotation, like you'll be doing computer stuff for businesses. it seems to vary which term they use for this.

have you seen the IT networking threads in this forum lately? i believe that it will bounce back, though, but i switched out of CS for other reasons... mainly because i lost interest in it... found something else more fun... and being in a class of 95% males suck, also
