Is it just me or does it look like CompUSA is giving away the house just to
get people to sign up ($10) for the upcoming rollout of XP????
Companion air tickets, coupons, free installs..........Ya think they know something
we don't know???

Yeah they know that if they can pull 100 people into the store that at least 75 percent of them will buy something else and usually that something else is a cable or adapter of some sort that has a gross margin of at least 85%. Rest assured its all bankrolled by Uncle Bill.
 
Heh.. there was something similar when Office XP was released... stores were throwing out free cd burners, hard drives, ram, etc.. for buying office. Kinda funny that they have like free luggage. Kinda hard to see how luggage and operating systems go hand and hand, but hey, a deals a deal!
 
That part of the ad was a little confusing.....Is the airline companion a piece of
luggage, or a companion "ticket" on an airline????
