The edge is smaller, with a metal case and flip cover. But the 'springboard' slot is a bolt-on frankenstein type thingey, while it's built in with the Neo.

So if you plan on expanding, the Neo is better. If size matters, the Edge is the way to go.

The prices are good, but keep in mind they are all discontinued models - Handspring has announced they will continue only with the Treo (no springboard) models in the future.
