Right, Microsoft has the best rebate processor I've ever dealt with, maybe because of all those money they have that they need to get rid off to avoid paying taxes to uncle Sam?
Anyway, Hi-Val really sucks, they're bankrupt now, got a letter from law firm handling their case about them unable to honor rebate blah blah blah...
Others I found ok are CompUSA, BestBuy, I/O Magic, Belkin... got all their MIR.

I just bought HotFax from SmithMicro, but haven't send in the MIR yet, are they really bad?

The Montclair CompUSA sucks too. They have horrible customer service. The day after the Iomega Deal, I went back to get my price adjustment and the manager was stomping around the store furious and he told everyone that there was a limit etc etc.

I have had no problems with MS, TiVo (although it took a while from them) and Circuit City. Staples is also pretty good.

Bad = HiVal
