Compusa has OBLIVION $39.99 PC Version

Elder Scrolls Oblivion PC $39.99 at Compusa not sure if you can get this in-store it says delivery only but who knows.
It shows a picture of collector's edition but the description nowhere states it's for the collector's edition.

D'oh! I was just about to pull the trigger for the $36.99 one from Outpost.com, but if I could get an in-store price match OR the CE for this price that would be KILLER.

Can anyone confirm that the version CompUSA is selling is the Collector's Edition or did they just make a mistake with the photo? A search for "Oblivion" brings up a couple Oblivions, some for the 360, but the only one for the PC has a photo of the Collector's Edition.

I think it's just the wrong pic. CompUSA used the same pic on release week and it ended up being the regular edition. If you also look at the full price, it's $49.99 instead of $59.99 that the CE is.

Still, good price if you haven't picked it up or ordered from Fry's/Outpost.

i am pretty sure $39.99 is the regular price at CC . . . at least it ws that price on the day of release when i bought it . . .and notice it did not change from Friday when i checked again. 😉

i'd wait till a patch comes out guys before you start playing.

if you encounter bugs, it can become extremely frustrating.

So tempting. I have sworn off buying this until I finish some other games, but the sale price is nice.

Edit: Check the interactive ad and it has Oblivion listed as $39.99 with no delivery only restriction shown.

That adding, eh? Still addicted to WoW. Haven't finished playing HL2 yet because of WoW.

Maybe I should hold off on purchasing this for now.
