Whats your problem with TigerDirect? I also dont order much, but never had a problem with them.
Someone must have lied to SystemMax. The reason CompUSA is going out of business is their pricing sucks and no one would shop there. Even now with 30% off of stuff, the prices on some of their stuff is still not competitive. The company has a long legacy of value pricing,

Back in 2003 when I built a system, Tigerdirect was still abhorrible. Took 1 and a half years and 4 submissions to collect the ~$350 worth of rebates. Didn't help that UPS completely bashed in our boxes causing some of the smaller parts to go missing. Horrible experience.
Now we got in on the diNovo deal and got 2 of them. Two $50 rebates through Logitech. Hopefully that goes well. I'll never trust a rebate through them again though.

Well, not ALL.
The article says "Pending required approvals, up to 16 CompUSA stores in Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico will be added during the first quarter of 2008."
There are currently 31 stores in FL, TX and Puerto Rico. Which ones will come under TigerDirect control?
