My advice...stay away from Memorex's DL
Verbatim DL is what I'd recommend.
Micro Center is known to do great discounts on Verbatim DL on BF or thereafter.

My coworker and I have burned approx 75 memorex so far without a single coaster.

Verbatim = always reliable
Fuji = somewhat reliable
Anything else = gamble.

Many people have had good experiences with all kinds of off-brands. I bought a pack of "Great Quality" DL disks and every one burned, but not a single one played reliably in various players. My friend has had a very good experience with them, all of the burning and playing in his players.

If you want to know you're getting a good burn, buy Verbatim. That's the only brand that is truly reliable for DL disks.

Still too expensive. Specially for memorex. Need to get about 40 cents each maybe 50-60 cents for a top brand like verbatim. Till then I'll continue using 2 disks.
