compusa cd's 100 for $29.00 (they are totally plain) will they do 12x?

I thought this was a pretty good deal since the cd's are totally blank. Most of the ones I have seen have writing on them. These are great for white cd labels. Will they do 12x? Also are these the ones that scratch real bad?

Those plastic wrapped cd from Compusa are rated for 12x. However, they are of poor quality and the top flakes/chips very easily. There have been a few people on this forum complaining about these cd's also recently. I was even at the store one day when a person was returning a pack of 100, saying that his recorder didn't seem to like them at all.

i havent had any problems with mine
