These are most likely rebadged TTGI/Superflower power PSUs which have a really solid good quality. These arn't ur typical cheaps PSUs.
The only downfall is normal auto fan mode is kinda loud so switch it to "quiet" mode when you arn't gamming etc.

I don't know about the quality of the power supply, but I do know that
mad dog is the scum of the earth when it comes to rebates.

They ignore phone calls, and just say email us info.
I bought a sound card from them in september, and I have not gotten
my rebate. I re-mailed mad dog copies of the receipt, rebate form, etc.
I have gotten comp-usa involved, and they say mad dog is working on it.

I have mailed in 6 other mad dog rebates, and 3 of them required
calling mad dog or the rebate processing company in order to get my money.

I am unaware of any company that is worse on rebates, except perhaps for
mouse systems, which may have gone out of business.

Not to thread crap, etc. but I will agree wihht lopgok on this worthless company. I bought a mad dog 500 watt power supply back on Jan 8th. I also bought an antec case that had a rebate and two products from linksys w/rebates. Everyone except for mad dog came in within the promised time frame. The mad dog one listed as "processing" or something similar for several weeks. Then one day it just said "Contact Us". Well, there's no easy way to contact them. I just kept getting answering machines, etc. I sent numerous emails and finally someone answered and said they show no record of my rebate and to send in all the info again. I did that and they said they would get my rebate within six weeks. I responded and said it was unacceptable, I wanted it immediately. He emailed me back and said
Your rebate check will be mailed this week!!!!
That was May 23, still no check.

cliff's. Don't count on the rebate.

Add me to that list of people screwed out of rebates by Maddog. I know how the rebate game is played so I kept my copies. OfficeMax made good on Maddogs failure. If other people pressure the merchant for reimbursement, eventually the caca (censored) will roll down hill into Maddogs lap. Thankfully the class action lawsuit against CompUSA has forced merchants to take ultimate responsibility, as it should be.

Now I'm worried. I'm waiting for rebates from the 350W, 500W, and 450W Mad Dog PS I bought from CompUSA.

I've bought other Mad Dog products in the past (their 7.1 soundcard and an nVidia based graphics card -- I think I got those rebates.

my .02 - I'm still waiting for a $30 from a January DVD burner purchase at microcenter. Same run-around "contact us" "wait 4 more weeks" blah blah blah

FWIW, I've purchased many Mad Dog products b/c of their rebates and have always received mine without a problem.

Wow that sucks, there should be a law about how many weeks a rebate takes and you should be able to go pick it up at the merchant.

Now I'm worry since I actually bought the product because of the 5 year warranty.

I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM COMPUSA AND MADDOG BRAND. Once I bought MadDog Sound Card from CompUSA. My sound card was broken in the retail box. I took it back to CompUSA and guess what? CompUSA guy told me that I broke it and he charged me 15% restoCking fee for returning the sound card which was broken in the box. I NEVER STEPED INTO CRAPUSA STORE AFTER THAT DAY.

YOU MAY GET YOUR MADDOG POWER SUPPLY BROKEN IN THE BOX. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SHI?TY COMPANY LIKE MADDOG.

If you please, help me with problem. I have Mad Dog PSU, it's not working well. Should I buy new PSU for my system? Thank you much for helping me.

Hi. Hot Deals is not a technical help forum. If you are having problems with your PSU, please create a thread in our Power Supplies forum

-Thanks
