Comptia Network+ Vs. Comptia Network+ Beta Cert

A few months ago I jumped aboard the free Network+ Beta exam. Today with shock (since I only practiced for 6hrs) I received an official letter in the mail letting me know that I passed by the tail end of my ass.

The only thing is on the cert it says (Exam: Network+ Beta Certification)

To an employer, does that matter? Or is it the EXACT same thing as a non-beta certification?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I'm fairly sure you're considered certified. Poke around CompTIA's website or e-mail them if you're not certain.

Right from CompTIA's own site

CompTIA is offering the Network+ beta exam at a reduced fee of $75; those who pass the exam will count among the first people certified in CompTIA Network+ 2005.

Unfortunately, I wasn't quite prepared to take the exam due to some of the rather arcane(older) subjects; fortunately, a bunch of those older lesser used materials are being removed and newer items added: Revised Objectives

BTW I never received my CompTIA card. Do I have to order it or should I just hand my employer the web print out?
