Compression socks/sleeves

I think I have some level of Achilles tendonitis - sore every morning until they loosen up, and always very sore to the touch (if I press on them) even if they dont hurt at all when walking or running.

I can run about 3-5 miles on a treadmill before my achilles and then arches hurt bad enough for me to quit.

So besides having a doctor tell me to ice them or buying 150 dollar custom shoes could some sort of compression sleeve help this kind of thing?

In the morning message calve and front of legs followed by light, easy stretching.
Strength training on legs in general. Squats and calf work.
You may want to take some time off from running to allow healing of whatever you got. You can try a switch to biking while you heal up

For runs
Pre - Message (rollers or whatever). Work the whole leg and lower back
Immediately after - Walking warm up prior to runs. 1/2 Mile
Pre-run - Message and stretch
Do your run. Don't run so far that you end up in pain.
ICE after ALL runs for 15 minutes.
