Composting Toilets! Anyone hear of these nasty things?

I guess you can actually use your composted crap as fertilizer for your garden. Yucky! I'm glad these are not big the in states.

My aunt is a ex-hippy and current free spirit who owns one of these things. I have to say that it truely doesnt stink, but is nasty nonetheless for the simple fact it breaks down your poopy in a pile for future use within a personal compost pile,gardens and what not. I recently tagged her with a new nickname..."wheat-Germ."

I think it's a really good idea. You help the environment and save water. Plus, you get free fertilizer to put in your garden. It doesn't really smell and looks almost just like any other toilet. It's kind of like one of those compost heaps people have in their backyards.

Hah! I'd think all the greenies around here that drive little econo sh|tboxes to save the environment would be all for this solution to the water shortage. They piss and moan about SUV drivers wasting gasoline, but they piss away four gallons of fresh water per toilet flush! Instead of harping at Detroit to pursue electric cars you ought to be complaining to Congress to give incentives to use these things!
