I don't see any way in the phone to compose them. Is there a way I can create my own ringtone or enter codes I see on the web so I don't have to pay to download one?

Or, can I send an email, myself, to my phone w/the codes? If so...anyone know the format it needs to be in?

The 3590 supports polyphonic ringtones, which are just midi files... you can use your phone's WAP browser and download any midi file from the web and save them as ringtones...

Well...was looking for some way to send them to my phone from my laptop or email...a bit easier to search for ringtones via DSL than via GPSR and that tiny screen :)

You dont really need to search... what I do is, for the ringtone midi's I want, I upload them to my web server... then I just type in the URL to the file in my phone's WAP browser and it will download automatically and store it as a ringtone....

very similar to sending the rington through msgs... but just go through the WAP browser...

Easy enough concept. But, I found out my new phone with its GPRS isn't working. Don't know yet if it's not available in this area or if something needs to be configured for my phone. That's why I was looking for a way to msg it to the phone.

Do you know if there's any data cable + software available for your phone? Maybe you can upload midi's directly from your PC to your phone...

Unfortunately for me, I have the data cable for my motorola c333, but no software is available yet...
