components help plz

Hi everyone, I've been away from the computer scene for a long time now. Anyways, I am getting a hand-me-down computer from my little brother just for general usage such as internet and autocad. He's giving me two options for chose from:

1. athlon 2800+, 9800pro, 1 gig pc 3200

2. athlon 64 3500+, x1300, 1 gig pc 3200

Please comment on which computer is better. BTW I am gonna be running this one a 22" LCD @ 1680x1050. Thank you

personally i would take the 2nd one. the athlon 64 is way better than the 2800+. without knowning what motherboard makes it a little more difficult, but still the 3500+ machine is still the better one

Get the second one but try and blag the first one's graphics card, it's well better than the x1300.
