Component video cables

Are they worth the extra money for DVD players? I just bought a Toshiba DVD for $80, the component video cables were (if I remember correctly) $50!

That seemed too much so I passed them over. I read in my manual that component video cables offer better picture quality. How much better than RCA?

Thanks

you don't need 50 dollar component cables

just get the 15 dollar ones at radio shack

I was looking on the Radio Shack website, didn't see any for $15. The cheapest I saw was $35 for gold ones. I guess they don't have every item in stock on the website. Will check them out in person tomorrow, thanks.

Yeah, they can make a difference, but you don't need to spend that much on them...

Have some custom Canare cables made for you, like I did. 😀
