Have a Syntax Olevia 27" LCD TV which does HD.

There is a row of connectors for YPbPr and another row for YCbCr. Are they interchangeable as far as HDTV goes ? I am reading that YPbPr is for progressive feeds and can carry 30KB of info and YCbCr is for interlace and can carry 15KB. Now if it's a progressive scan DVD player, I know which to use, but if it's an HDTV signal from a digital cable box, would it be worse to put it in YCbCr ? I currently have my XBOX plugged into YPbPr while I wait for my HDTV box to get installed... would the XBOX HD feed be worse in the YCbCr ?

It depends on the line doubler on your set, but I'd go with the HDTV box into YPbPr and the XBOX into YCbCr if it will sync, and you don't want to keep changing the connector.

I have to use the XBOX on my YCbCr connectors (480i component) because the XBOX won't sync using YPbPr using the HD pack on my set for some reason, but it looks OK because the set's line doubler does a decent job (I can pick interlaced or progressive)

For HD, I use both YPbPr and HD-15 (VGA) and it does a great job, it depends on your set, you should be able to compare them.
